<p style="text-align: justify;">The south western Queensland town of St. George has been alerted that the flood could rise hit this town of about 4,000 people sometimes late Friday or early Saturday. An area the size of Victoria is already under water in the state of Queensland. Flooding areas are central Queensland, Bedourie and southern Queensland area border with NSW.<br />
Helicopters and emergency workers have been deployed in the region. Evacuation centre in the St. George has been established in St. George showground. It has been estimated about $135million worth of damage state-wide and the assessment in progress and rising.</p>
