Heartbroken friends of Sarah Cafferkey have taken to Facebook in an outpouring of grief after police said her body was found at a Point Cook home.
The 22-year-old, who vanished on November 9, was described by friend Ali Evans as having a “cheeky smile” that would shine down on her loved ones forever.
“My beautiful best friend who i referred to over the years as sarbear, sezbez, sezzoo, sar, spidey sez, hoobswoof, caffjaff,” she wrote.
“You are now something more precious then I know of you, your now all I shall refer to as my angel.”
Another friend, Tess Chamberlain, posted a photo of herself with Ms Cafferkey with the words: “The best time of my life with the best person. I love you Seza.”
“Rest In Peace Sarah. I love you forever. Words can’t describe right now. You will be with me always.”

Steven Boeck films the superstorm that hit Brisbane from underneath the Red Hill shops.

Hail and strong winds have pummelled Brisbane’s CBD after severe thunderstorms moved across south-east Queensland. The Bureau of Meteorology earlier forecast severe thunderstorms to impact the Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Darling Downs and Wide Bay regions. That storm warning has been cancelled but a severe thunderstorm warning has now been issued for Roma, Charleville, Longreach and Winton.
Parts of Brisbane were hit with hail, shops in Paddington were flooded and the ABC’s South Bank office was forced to evacuate as the storm crossed the city around 10:45am (AEST). Energex crews are working to restore power to around 11,000 homes across the region. Mike Swanston from Energex says there were 4,000 direct hits from lightning. “We recorded 4,000 lightning strikes directly to our power network as that storm passed over Brisbane,” he said. “That has done a fair bit of damage to the overhead network. “We have about 91 reports of wires down across the Brisbane area and out towards Ipswich.”
John Hannan from Emergency Management Queensland is advising residents to have food, water and gas supplies and to stay indoors if storms affect their area. “Once the storm is over, if you do go outside beware of down powerlines. Don’t touch them, call Energex,” he said. “If you are driving, get off the road during the storm. If there is a flooded waterway, don’t cross a flooded waterway.” Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Bryan Rolstone says storm activity is also expected tomorrow.
“The thunderstorm cells in general will merge into rain overnight and rain into the morning then we will be back into it tomorrow,” he said. “Monday looks like clearing in the weather but, short term, [because] the next south easterly change will be on our doorstep coming up from the south, that might kick up some storms on the southern border but may not necessarily reach us.”

Flag and map of China

China’s Communist Party announced the makeup of the new Politburo Standing Committee today. The panel, which was reduced to seven members from nine, is the most powerful decision-making body in China.
Xi Jinping, 59, was was named general secretary of the 82- million member Communist Party and is set to take over the presidency, a mostly ceremonial post, from Hu Jintao in March. He served in top positions in prosperous coastal regions, including Fujian, Zhejiang and Shanghai, from 1985 through 2007, winning praise for his pro-market policies. Since returning to Beijing, Xi has also headed the Communist Party’s main cadre training school, where he makes speeches laced with references to Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin. A visit to the U.S. in February took him back to Muscatine, Iowa, where he spent time in 1985 studying farming techniques. The son of one of the revolutionary founders of the Communist state, he is married to Peng Liyuan, a popular Chinese folksinger. Their only daughter is an undergraduate at Harvard University.
Li Keqiang, 57, is currently China’s executive vice premier in charge of the economy and health care, and is set to inherit Wen Jiabao’s job as Chinese premier in March. A native of Anhui province, Li graduated from Peking University, the school that many of the student leaders of the 1989 Tiananmen protests attended. He studied law as an undergraduate and earned a PhD in economics in 1994, writing a doctoral thesis on urbanization. He rose through the ranks of the Communist Party’s Youth League, which Hu Jintao led at the time. Li served as Communist Party secretary of central China’s Henan province, where he faced criticism for his handling of an AIDS crisis that was caused by a government-run blood donation program. As the vice premier focused on the economy, Li argued that China’s growth model should shift away from investment and toward more consumption, making China’s income distribution more equitable — or, as he put it in a 2010 speech, more “olive shaped.” Li’s brother, Li Keming, is a deputy head of China’s State Tobacco Monopoly.
Wang Qishan, 64, is currently vice premier overseeing the financial sector and is the direct counterpart to U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner, who in 2009 described Wang as China’s “definitive preeminent troubleshooter, firefighter, problem solver.” Wang got that reputation for being summoned to fix crises including the 1998 collapse of an investment company and the government’s botched response to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome epidemic in 2003, when Beijing reported more cases than any other city worldwide. As Beijing’s mayor, he oversaw preparations for the 2008 Olympics. Wang is the only banker on the Politburo Standing Committee, having led China Construction Bank Corp. (939), now China’s No. 2 lender, as well serving as vice governor of the People’s Bank of China, the country’s central bank. Wang is married to the daughter of Yao Yilin, one of the country’s top officials in the 1980s.
Yu Zhengsheng, 67, trained as an engineer and was formerly minister of construction. He replaced Xi Jinping as Communist Party secretary of the financial hub of Shanghai in 2007. Yu’s brother, who was a top official in China’s Ministry of State Security, defected to the U.S. in 1985. His great uncle was the defense minister under Chiang Kai-shek, China’s leader before the Communist victory in 1949, according to Cheng Li, who studies China’s elite politics at the Brookings Institution in Washington. Yu served under former General Secretary Jiang Zemin at the Ministry of Electronics Industry. He has served in top official posts across the country and entered the Politburo in 2002.
Zhang Dejiang, 66 this month, is currently Chongqing party secretary and vice premier in charge of industries including telecommunications and energy. Zhang was appointed to run Chongqing after Bo Xilai was ousted earlier this year amid a political scandal that led to his wife’s conviction for murdering a British businessman. Zhang said at the time that Bo had brought “great damage” to the Communist Party’s image. Zhang studied economics at Kim Il Sung University in Pyongyang and rose to the post of party secretary in northeast China’s Jilin province in 1995. In 1998 he took the top party post in coastal Zhejiang province and entered the Politburo in 2002, moving to take over Guangdong, China’s most populous province. He has been a vice premier since 2008.
Zhang Gaoli, who turns 66 this month, has been the Communist Party secretary of Tianjin since 2007. In Tianjin, he oversaw a surge in infrastructure spending near the municipality’s port area centered on a new financial district, Yujiapu, modeled on Manhattan. The infrastructure spending was backed by a borrowing binge, and the city’s state-owned construction companies are among the most indebted in the country. Zhang studied planning and statistics as a student and worked in the oil industry in the 1970s and 1980s in southern China. He took the top post in the industrial city of Shenzhen in 1997. Zhang became party secretary of the coastal province of Shandong in 2002, moving to the Tianjin post and membership on the Politburo in 2007.
Liu Yunshan, 65, has been minister of the Communist Party’s propaganda department since 2002, supervising the country’s television and radio stations, newspapers, book publishers and Internet companies. Liu’s career has been limited to the province of Inner Mongolia and then Beijing, where he moved up the ranks of the Communist Party’s propaganda apparatus after becoming a deputy minister in 1993. Liu moved to the minister’s job a decade ago, securing a spot in the Politburo. Liu’s son, Liu Lefei, was chairman of state-owned Citic Private Equity Fund Management Co. until earlier this year.

A NSW hen farm is in lockdown as authorities investigate a possible case of bird flu.
The NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) has quarantined the layer hen facility in the lower Hunter region, north of Sydney.
But the suspected avian influenza case does not involve the same virus strain that claimed human lives around the world, the DPI has confirmed.
“The suspected virus is definitely not the highly pathogenic H5N1 strain that has gained worldwide attention – nor is it closely related to that strain,” NSW chief veterinary officer Ian Roth said in a statement on Thursday.
“The property has been placed under quarantine and initial tracing and surveillance is being undertaken to confirm that the virus hasn’t spread. We currently have no evidence to suggest it has.”
Australia has previously had a small number of outbreaks of avian influenza viruses which were all quickly and successfully eradicated, the DPI said.
Final confirmation should be available later on Thursday afternoon.
Dr Roth said people who notice sick or dead birds should contact their local veterinarian or call the Emergency Animal Disease Watch Hotline on 1800 675 888.

Do the RIGHT thing above good thing.

Holy Scriptures, the Word of God, The Bible – Romans 1:21-32.

I came across the article about of David Edwin Rapson blaming God for his own filthy, dirty and unnatural ways of life. So thought to write in response to David Rapson’s accusation to God about his own filthy, dirty ways of life, not to mention defiling and ruining the lives of many young boys, who were very dear and beloved to their parents and their loved ones, who were under the stewardship of David as their priests/pastor/teacher and who he was supposed to guide, nurture and admonish them in godly ways. Instead he defiled them and now blames God for his filthy deeds and crime.
David Rapson and all those filthy Catholic priests and every men and woman who say its God’s fault that they were made this way should read the Holy Scriptures, they were not made this way. If only David Rapson read the Holy Bible, Holy Scriptures the Word of God he would know, God created Adam and Eve (male and female) (Genesis 1:27) and were created to multiply/procreate, bring forth children (Genesis 1:28). And the union was and is only between man and woman to bring forth godly seed. (Malachi 2:15). There should be no union between men and men or women and women. Union was and is only to be between man and woman and for one purpose and one alone to bring forth children, no molesting and defiling men or women.
And no, no man or woman is created this way, the filthy way, even if you didn’t believe in God, this is unnatural and against the nature itself. We can trace back the history of mankind and the filthy lusts that some men and women desire conceive and practice it in their lives, sometimes or every time. One of the first one was Ham the son of Noah. Ham was a married man, he had a wife, but he also had a filthy heart and unnatural desire. Why, what did he do? He defiled his father when his father was drunk, sleep and unconscious. “And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness. And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.” (Genesis 9:22-25). He was the first sodomite recorded in the history of mankind. Remember he was not created/born this way. He lusted for this filthy way and unnatural desire.
David Rapson don’t blame God for your sins and crimes against God and against those young lads whose parents put their faith in you and Catholic church to nurture and pastor them. Instead you defiled and ruined their lives; when you were the man professed to serve God and know God. What does the Bible, the Word of God say, “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:21-32).
So, neither you nor anyone is born this way, the filthy and unnatural way. Don’t make excuse or blame God for your sins and crime which you have committed against these young people (I found out now they are in their 50s, which is a lot older than me). No man or priest is above the law of the land. Same goes to every priests and men who blames God for their own filthy deeds. We have laws in our country to bring order, justice and peace in the land so let’s apply and respect it.

This was the news article:
source: 7news
A former Catholic priest accused of molesting boys at a Victorian school told a colleague that “God made us this way and it’s his fault”, court documents allege. David Edwin Rapson, 59, is accused of abusing boys between 1973 and 1990, including at the Salesian College Rupertswood in Sunbury where he was a teacher. Rapson is facing a committal hearing in the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
In a statement tendered on Wednesday, one of the boys alleges he was molested by Rapson in the school infirmary when he was in year 10. The boy said he was in the infirmary because he had been stung by a bee. He alleges there were a number of children in the infirmary at the time and Rapson made each drink a cup of Milo. The boy said the Milo tasted “a bit strong and quite acrid”. He said he saw Rapson, whom he called Brother Rapson, going to each bed and lifting up the blankets and making derogatory comments about the boys’ penises. He alleges another priest came into to the room and asked Rapson what he was doing. Rapson replied: “You know what we do here.” To which the other priest said: “You’ve really got to resist.” Rapson replied: “God made us this way and it’s his fault.”
The boy’s statement said Rapson also told the other priest he was the same as him. A short time later Rapson allegedly molested the boy. “While he was assaulting me he was saying things like `You’re useless, you’re no good’ and things like that,” the boy said in his statement. The boy, who is now in his 50s, gave his evidence in camera but his statement was released to the media. Rapson is facing charges including one count of rape and four counts of indecently assaulting a child under 16. The committal hearing before magistrate Greg McNamara is continuing.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has touched down in Perth ahead of the annual AUSMIN talks with Australian officials this week.
Mrs Clinton flew into Australia amid tight security, with Secretary of Defence Leon Panetta to fly in later on Tuesday.
A motorcade of 11 cars and three buses met Mrs Clinton, along with Defence Minister Stephen Smith and Foreign Minister Bob Carr, West Australian Premier Colin Barnett, Australian ambassador to the US Kim Beazley and US ambassador to Australia Jeffrey Bleich.
AUSMIN is the highest-level forum for Australia and US consultation on foreign policy, defence and strategic issues.
This visit could be Mrs Clinton’s last to Australia as Secretary of State, with Mrs Clinton expected to step down from the role early in the new year. Prime Minister Julia Gillard is due to meet with Mrs Clinton later today ahead of the formal talks tomorrow.
Ms Gillard told reporters in Perth that she was looking forward to “having a chat” with Mrs Clinton and that the two leaders would get some one-on-one time.
The Prime Minister added that the AUSMIN talks came at a critical time as the Obama administration assessed its second term priorities and plans.
“These talks will also deal with discussing what President Obama and I agreed last year about military cooperation between our two countries,” she said. “[And] will stocktake that progress and further defence cooperation.”
AUSMIN is expected to cover regional issues important to both nations as well as the American military presence at northern Australian airbases and the future of the war in Afghanistan.
Senator Carr described the talks as “tending” to the relationship with the US.
“You always keep your friendships in good repair,” he told Sky News.
Senator Carr said that he expected the talks to go beyond the Asia-Pacific, particularly since Australia had won a seat on the UN Security Council for 2013-14.
He predicted that the civil war in Syria, as was as Myanmar’s moves towards democracy would be discussed.
Despite being intrigued about speculation that Mrs Clinton might run for US presidency in 2016, Senator Carr said he would not be quizzing his counterpart on the subject.
“I’d love to but I wouldn’t be so rude and it would be quite impolite of me, quite undiplomatic of me,” Senator Carr said.
“I think I’ll curb those instincts and be the perfect diplomat throughout these meetings.”
On Sunday, Mr Smith told the ABC that the talks would look at ”challenges and opportunities”.
”I suspect one of the challenges that will confront Leon Panetta as the United States looks to implementing the so-called pivot to Asia as it rebalances the disposition of its forces from effectively 50/50 to NATO in the northern hemisphere to 40/60 to the Asia-Pacific,” Mr Smith said.
Over the weekend, Mr Smith dismissed reports that the US was worried about recent cuts to Australia’s defence budget and that the issue would be on the agenda.
After AUSMIN, Mrs Clinton will travel to Adelaide to meet Australian business leaders and visit Techport Australia and pay a visit to family friends.
Mr Beazley was pleased to see the Secretary of State in Australia.
“On a beautiful day in Perth, great to welcome Hillary to my hometown,” he posted on Twitter

Detective Chief Inspector Peter Fox says he will not rest until there is a Royal Commission into child abuse in the Catholic Church. Det Chief Insp Fox, who investigated abuse by clergy for decades, revealed last week that “the church covers up, silences victims, hinders police investigations, alerts offenders, destroys evidence and moves priests to protect the good name of the church” and said that he was stood down from his investigation while he was compiling “explosive” evidence from a key witness.
His claims prompted NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell to start a special inquiry into child abuse, but Det Chief Insp Fox says he will not rest until there is a Royal Commission. Good on you Chief Inspector Peter Fox.

13-year-old, Melbourne high school girl Meg Richards is the founder and designer of Graffiti Soles that designs graffiti in shoes. Meg who loves art and drawing says she came with this idea of graffiti-ing shoes as she was inspired by all the graffiti art she saw around Melbourne. Meg along with Tara Naidu, her long time school friend since kindergarten have paired to become business partners and launched website for Graffiti Soles.
At present, all Graffiti Soles shoes are customised, but these two high school teen business girls are working on business plan and thinking of having four main designs and have them printed and if people like them and business increases then they will still be able to supply them quickly.

Larissa Roberston. Photo: supplied

At just 28, Larissa Robertson used her own ‘rescue plan’ to take over a company with 250 staff. When Larissa Robertson joined a Western Sydney labour hire firm in 2005 as the financial controller, she could see the company was in trouble.
She told the senior management and the board, and presented them with a plan to save the business, but they weren’t interested.
“The first board meeting I attended in 2005 I said ‘you haven’t made any money this year, you’ve actually lost a few hundred thousand dollars this year, I recommend restructuring or going into administration’,” she says. “We had that same conversation every year.”
Rescue plan
Four years later, the firm was in administration and Robertson bought it. She decided she could use the rescue plan the board had rejected.
Aged just 28, she raised $70,000 in investment from a couple of friends and took ownership of a business with 250 employees and an annual turnover of $20 million.
“I was terrified,” she says of the purchase of what is now SCO Recruitment. “Even though it was terrifying and I wasn’t quite sure what I was doing, every time I looked at the numbers I knew they worked.”
Four years later the business is back on an even keel. It had turnover of more than $16 million in the financial year just passed and has about 400 employees at any one time. SCO Recruitment has two arms. One is a labour hire arm that supplies 60 per cent of the contract labour to councils in New South Wales and has recently expanded into Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
The other is a property services arm which provides cleaning and handyman services to the Department of Housing. Robertson runs this as an “employment incubator” to help the long-term unemployed back into the workforce.
When she bought the business Robertson, now 31, had wanted to find $300,000 to invest, but had to make do with a lower sum raised from investors.
Tough negotiating
“[The business] had been losing money for a long time and so I knew how to run the cash flow really, really well regardless of whether or not I had money to keep the business going,” she says. “I knew I could do it with $70,000. I just knew there would be a lot more negotiation with suppliers and people as I started to get it up and running.”
When the business went into administration, all of its existing contracts were terminated, so Robertson had to quickly make rounds of its clients to outline her business plan and see if they were willing to give her their business.
Most agreed. “That motivated me. If they said yes and they think it’s all right, maybe it’s the right thing to do,” she says.
What Robertson had bought were the old business’ plant and equipment – including 35 vehicles and ride-on mowers. She spent a frantic week finding new premises and setting up the office. “We were there at four o’clock in the morning putting desks together and trying to get it all ready so people could come into the office the next day.”
Robertson quickly shored up the business by shutting down loss making divisions and was able to save the jobs of 180 of the 250 staff from the old business.
I’m what?
Within three weeks of taking over the recruitment company she lost a $4 million contract and Robertson found out she was pregnant. Even now Robertson is unsure if she would have bought the business if she knew she was soon to have a baby. “I’m very glad I didn’t have to find out until afterwards,” she says.
Juggling pregnancy and a baby with running a business has forced her to delegate.
“I used to work up to 80 hours a week and my intention had been that I would just do that for the next six to 12 months while the companies got organised and we got everything under control,” she says.
As someone who says she was a control freak, Robertson is still learning to delegate and communicate clearly to her staff. “Sometimes I’ll tell them what I need done and it’s all very clear and it’s done much better than I would have done it,” she says. “Other times it comes out completely the opposite to what you were looking for. Was it me? Was it them? It’s just a learning thing.”
Having a baby – her son Alex is now two-and-a-half – also prompted Robertson to introduce a crèche at the office. It’s free for staff – as long as they have lunch and play with their children – and helps retain good staff.
Another rude shock
Three months after buying the business, she got another rude shock. A glitch in the company’s accounting system showed it had made a $25,000 profit, but Robertson checked the figures and found a $300,000 loss.
Her business partners lost confidence and decided they wanted out. “By December I was eight months pregnant and negotiating to pay them out and take the business back on myself,” she says.
She restructured again and further cut costs, including her wage.
The experience taught Robertson, a former accountant, that nothing is a simple as the numbers make them seem.
“Being an accountant, the numbers all make sense and the plans all there, but real life does not follow a business plan,” she says.
Initially she says she found running her own business a lonely experience, because her family and friends didn’t understand what she was talking about, but now gets support from entrepreneur organisations.
Larissa Robertson’s entrepreneur tips
1. Don’t let fear stop you.
2. There is always a way!
3. Don’t let your passion become your obsession. Let go and enjoy every moment you get with your friends and family – even if they are cranky, over-tired toddlers having meltdowns at the supermarket!
4. There is no smooth sailing in business. You can’t control the weather, let alone the global economy. Don’t dwell. Accept, learn, adapt.
5. And the most important rule: Get the right people on your team. You can’t do everything yourself, you need to find the people that not only share your vision but whose passion and support turns that vision into reality.

Australian teenager entrepreneur Xavier Di Petta who is just 16-year-old makes $50k a month. Just like other regular high school kids he goes to school and like some kids he also plays computer games and sports. But his story is little different to these average Australian high school kids. He is an entrepreneur and makes about $50,000 a month.
Some of his income comes from social media marketing, promoting and affiliation with brands like NBC, GE and Nike. Posting entertaining articles, pictures and facts which is paid on a pay-per-click basis.
Xavier launched his first app, Fitspiration, last month. An app that helps users keep motivated about their fitness. In July 2012, Di Petta used his earning to launch his own application development company, Swift Fox Labs.
Although for start-ups Australia is very small compared to Silicon Valley, Di Petta plans to stay in Australia and says Australia has everything he need and want,” he says. ”I love the Australian lifestyle, and would love to establish Melbourne and Sydney offices for Swift Fox Labs in the near future.

New research out today shows that Australians are getting more productive in the workplace but still wasting time to the tune of $87 billion every year.
Ernst & Young’s Australian Productivity Report has found that time wasted at work has fallen by 4% over the past 12 months, but unnecessary meetings, unimportant emails and the use of social media are still clocking up a booming wage bill.
And who’s sucking the most money out of businesses? The iconic Aussie bludger.
The report found that the bludgers among us, who account for about 5% of the workforce, are responsible for a whopping 20% of all wasted time.
Looking at the bill, that’s over $17 billion of the $87 billion wasted every year.
But that’s not a reflection on the rest of us, with the E&Y report finding that 4 out of 5 workers take productivity ‘very seriously’ and make a concerted effort to work ‘smarter’ to make the most of the day.
The survey, based on the word of more than 2100 employees across seven industries and all sectors, also provides some telling statistics on each state.
Interestingly, Tasmania has come in as the most productive state, with healthcare and social workers the most astute employees.
NSW has been found to be the bludge-iest of the bunch as the least productive, while finance and insurance workers are the least time-efficient employees.
West Australians had the most time to procrastinate, clocking up the longest hours in the country, while South Australians were the most likely to leave the office early.

MACKAY police have arrested four children and declared an emergency situation as an “enormous fire” burns in North Mackay.
A police spokeswoman confirmed four juveniles were in police custody in relation to the incident.
Shop fronts for Toys’R'Us, Autobarn and Clark Rubber were totally engulfed by flames.
Additional fire crews – now numbering nine in total – have been called to Greenfields Boulevard to fight the blaze, which remains out of control more than two hours after the first triple 0 call was made at 11.45am.
An Emergency Services spokeswoman said the building had been evacuated with no missing people reported.
At 1.20pm, the roof of the Toys’R'Us was reported to be caving in.
The Bruce Highway at Nebo and all surrounding streets have been closed.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
