Three men in their early 20s have died in a crash when the car driven by 23-year-old learner driver collided with a truck in northern New South Wales. It is believed that the collision took place when the L-plater drove pass a give way sign and tried to turn into Pacific Highway.
The accident which took place at about 8:15pm (AEST) last night (Thursday) involving a south bound truck on Pacific Highway and three men on the maroon Subaru which was travelling north along Woodford Lane at Ewingsdale near Byron Bay in northern New South Wales killed all three men in the car who were aged 23, 22 and 25.
51-year-old driver, Sydney man was not injured in the collision but shocked and had assisted the police with their inquiries.
