Sydney robber killed during home invasion

Sydney man stabbed the robber during home invasion in south western Sydney suburb of Yagoona, Bankstown.  According to police report the man, owner of the house was at the back of his shed when the 30-year-old robber entered the house. When the owner of the house returned to the house he was threatened by the robber who was armed with an electronic stun device. The two men fought and the resident of the house allegedly stabbed the robber in the arm and the chest before he ran from the scene in a red vehicle driven by friend. 
The man later got out of the car and was left by the side of the road and was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, where he died during treatment.
