Two young male, a P-plate driver and his teenage passenger are in a serious condition with injuries in hospital after their Honda sedan ripped into two when it slammed into a power pole on King Georges Road, Blakehurst, in Sydney’s southern suburbs.
The P-Plater and his passenger who were trapped in wreckage were transported to St George Hospital in Kogarah. 19-year-old witness travelling in another vehicle with Honda at the time of the accident who is known to the P-Plater stopped after the crash. The cause of the accident is not known and the police are checking it. Police will be speaking to 19-year-old witness and get the report if the car was street racing when the accident happened.
