One woman died and six others taken to hospital in Victoria.

Anglesea, Victoria
36-year-old woman died today when she was caught in a rip at Urquharts Bluff, a popular unpatrolled Surf Coast beach near Anglesea in Victoria. She was one of the seven people who were caught in a rip.
The incident was responded by police officers, rescue helicopter, volunteer lifeguards and ambulance officers. Although all seven people were taken to Geelong Hospital, the woman died on the way to the hospital.
