Authorities at prison cell of Mobilong Prison in the City of Murray Bridge, South Australia had found a realistic, real look-alike pistol made of matchsticks painted black. The real look alike five-inch pistol was found on the window ledge. The prisoner who was responsible for designing went through lot of effort to make it look like a genuine gun. To make it look more realistic the word “Made in Italy” was also fixed on the side of this so real looking tiny gun.
This fake matchstick gun could have been used to trick the prison staff for a real gun and threaten to kill or be used to escape attempt. The prisoner who was responsible for designing and making it denied it was for any threatening or evil purpose. Now the prisoner have been moved to another prison and banned from involving in any sort of craft work in his prison cell until further notice.
