Julia Gillard is now the new Prime Minister of Australia decided by few members of Labor party in Canberra on the 24th of June 2010. Ms Gillard divides her time between her home in Altona, southwest suburb in Melbourne and a flat in Kingston, a suburb in Canberra.
Ms. Gillard’s new role would oblige her to pay more attention to security concerns. Which means she need to move into the Prime Minister’s Lodge in Canberra, from her current flat in Canberra and home in Melbourne. The Official lodge in Canberra meets all the security needs for the Prime Minister with security and secure communications. Australian Federal Police also began patrolling her house in Melbourne.
But, Ms Gillard has said she would not move into the traditional Canberra home of the nation’s leader until and if she was elected prime minister. But security expert has questioned her decision not to move and could be reversed very quickly.
The Official Lodge is for the Prime Minister of Australia. Is Ms Gillard the Prime Minister of Australia? If yes then she should move in and should put to stop all the dramas. Ms Gillard should appreciate the safety measures and concern taken to protect her office of the Prime Ministership by the Australian Intelligence Agencies’ and take the advice of the security experts.
If, Julia Gillard feels guilty of stabbing Kevin Rudd and taking his job as the Prime Minister of Australia unelected? And, she only wants to move into the official residence of nation’s chief executive, only and if she is elected as the Prime Minister of Australia, then she should also give the office of the Prime Minister back to Mr. Rudd and wait for the number one job until she is officially elected by the Australians to be the Prime Minister of Australia.

maybe deep down she doesn’t feel she needs to be in the lodge as she may not be pm for long. One can only hope she doesn’t.I wouldn’t pack any gear for the move to the lodge if I were her as she may get a big shock come voteing day,but then again ‘m not a back stabber like her.
