59 Year-Old Security Guard Killed in Sydney

Early this morning in Sydney CBD a security guard was shot in the chest. The security guard who worked as security for nearly ten years was making routine cash delivery with his colleagues when they were approached by four robbers with two of them carrying handguns.
The guard was shot just inside the doorway of Darling Park building at the corner of Sussex and Market Street. The 59 year old security guard from Sutherland Shire, Sydney’s southern suburbs was rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition, but later he died in the hospital. A fund has been established to raise donation for the guard’s family, the man who died in the line of duty.
