31-year-old surfer died this morning after a shark attacked him while he was surfing at a beach near Gracetown, south of Perth Western Australia. Man from Busselton about 50 kilometres north of Gracetown was attacked about 8:15am local time this morning while surfing south of South Point.
Local residents Rod Adler, Eddie Kilgallon and their friends rush down to the beach with other friends to aid the man and alerted the rescue crew. The surfer was washed up on rocks near South Point and lying unconscious with a huge wound in his leg.
The unconscious surfer had his wedding ring on; whom the local residents tried to wake up to consciousness by reminding him of his loved ones. But the residents were unable to bring him to consciousness. It is believed the man was a father and worked in West Australia’s Goldfields.
