Six Australian Soldiers Wounded by Roadside Bomb in Afghanistan

Six Australian troops have been wounded by the roadside bomb explosion in Afghanistan in two days period. In this recent incident, four soldiers from the 1st Mentoring Task Force were travelling in an Afghan National Army patrol vehicle in Oruzgan province’s Chora Valley when a device exploded.
Two soldiers suffered minor wounds and two others received external wounds. The soldiers were treated at the scene and taken by helicopter to an International Security Assistance Force hospital located at Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan.
