Family and friends of Sapper Jacob Moerland bid him farewell at his funeral in Gayndah, Queensland. Many including the Prime Minister of Australia and the Opposition Leader Tony Abbot attended the funeral service of Jacob Moerland, who lost his life in Afghanistan when improvised explosive device was detonated while conducting a dismounted, on foot patrol with his Unit, the 2nd Combat Engineer Regiment.
