Body of Australian Soldier Nathan Bewes Returning Home to Australia

The body of Private Nathan Bewes aged 23 who was killed by home made bomb in Afghanistan will be returned to Australia tomorrow, Thursday the 15th of July 2010. Private Bewes who was from Murwillumbah, Northern New South Wales was serving with Brisbane based 6th Battalion. He became the 17th Australian soldier to be killed in Afghanistan since 2001.
Defence Minister John Faulkner and ADF chief Angus Houston will be present with Bewe’s family at RAAF Amberley in Southern Queensland for a ceremony to mark the return of Piravte Bewes’ body around 2pm eastern time. But the location of Bewe’s funeral service is yet to be decided.
