Australian Navy soldier dies in India
Australian senior navy sailor dies on HMAS Toowoomba in Mumbai India. 28-year-old soldier has died from a gunshot wound while onboard. The male sailor was alone in his cabin at the time of the incident. Defence has no yet released any details of the incident but the sailor’s family member has been notified.

Australian and Afghan soldiers have seized large quantities of heroin, opium and hashish when they raided properties in the Baghran district last week. Beside drugs, the troops also seized six tonnes of chemicals, 30 rocket propelled grenade boosters.
