Tony Sheldon and Union are gambling with Qantas workers job

Honestly, I feel sorry for these Qantas workers. Tony Sheldon and the people who are benefiting from this strike using these ground staff must be laughing at these Qantas staff at their office. No doubt many of these workers are sincerely seeking for better pay conditions. But, Tony Sheldon is the man who is reaping great benefits and free campaign for higher position. After the Tuesday’s strike, he has also told the media that he is seeking to be the President of Australian Labor and is expecting a great deal of support. So, what can be the better way to be selfish and to grab people’s attention then ruining people’s day and disrupting their daily life?
If Tony Sheldon and Transport Workers Union (TWU) are so interested at the welfare of the workers and genuinely believe that these people should take more of their hard earned pay home, then why don’t they make the union fee or membership fee just $AUD 1 a month or 50cents for those workers that Sheldon and TWU thinks are taking less pay home? Then this action could send a real message of welfare of fellow workers. Else it’s as always just a greedy, selfish and power hungry union.
Will the union cut union fees? I guess not. Instead they want more money and that is what all these fuss is about. If the workers get more pay then more cash flows into union’s pocket. Sheldon or his union mates has nothing to loose. Whatever the outcome of this strike is, success or failure, they are very happy about it as it is serving their higher purpose to take them to the next level in their career, they are promoting themselves free of cost at the time, job, life and expense of poor Qantas workers.
Its people’s job, money and life, its Australian people’s future Sheldon and his union mates are gambling with. I only say one thing to the people to ask themselves, what have they achieve by going on a strike and making people’s life miserable. People the ones who are paying their wages for their service on behalf of Qantas. No service means no customer, no customer means no money, no money means no Qantas and no Qantas means no jobs and no jobs means every Qantas workers problem. Its not bad pay but its no pay at all. So, at the end who will lose? Not the union or the secretary its each and every workers in Qantas.
