Qantas employees nationwide went on strike. Baggage handlers, ground staff, catering and freight employees were protesting about their poor pay. Many flights, more than 6000 Qantas passengers faced delays because more than 4000 Qantas ground crew went on strike.
It will be a wise thing for Qantas workers to consider why do they think they are getting less pay? How much do they faithfully give their hard earn dollars to the union every week? People say they are getting paid less, then why are they giving their money to the union? What for? Union is nothing but just a gang of people who sucks money from poor to make them even poorer, they stir up people for their own gain and benefit. Now, they are even helping and speeding up Qantas staff to loose their job too.
Strike by Qantas staff is only pushing business and services away from Qantas and Australia to foreign airlines like Virgin, Singapore Airlines and other Middle Eastern Airlines. It’s the Qantas workers and unions themselves who are helping themselves and are responsible for Australian jobs going overseas or handing Australian jobs to foreign companies. So, people blame no one but yourself when you hear the news that Qantas Kangaroo has jumped far away to Asia.
Soon you people will be out of job. When the company packs up and moves overseas, what will the unions do? The company is gone, it’s finished, they will just say sorry and bad luck mate, and that’s it. Your company will be gone, your job will be gone, but one thing will always be there it’s the union. Union is only there to squeeze your hard earned dollars and not to serve you.
Here is a real story: One company in US wanted to reshuffle the company, which is not a new thing or a bad thing. So, the company got the people from various departments within the company and formed a team that could monitor their staff’s performance. Well in the process they began to get rid of less productive staff and kept the ones who performed well. So, finally at the end the management also got rid of that team. So, where is the union? You do your job well, perform well you don’t have to worry about union or union fee and can actually save more every week and keep the job too, while everybody is helping themselves to lose their own job.
